On this day in 2004, one night after Randy Orton became the youngest world champion in WWE history at SummerSlam, Evolution turned on him. During a championship celebration on Raw in Ontario, Triple H raised his thumb, turned it down, and Batista and Ric Flair joined him in beating down the new World Heavyweight Champion, kicking Orton out of the group he rose to the top with.
