Today is my birthday, and I wish I could say I’m celebrating, but I’m suffering. I’m permanently disabled from multiple incurable chronic diseases, and my condition has significantly worsened in the past year. I’ve lost a great deal of mobility and am living with some of the worst pain of my life. I’m bedridden, struggling to get through each day, and doing this largely on my own. I need help now more than ever. I’m currently navigating ongoing medical care, surgeries, procedures, medications, supplements, therapies, and basic necessities that aren’t covered by Medicare.
