For those who don’t know my story: I’m PENG PENG, former Canadian Olympic Team Captain, NCAA National Champion at UCLA, and elite gymnast turned independent pop artist. “TELL ME WHAT’S MY NAME” is about reclaiming your identity, owning your confidence, and not letting other people define you. I spent my entire life training to become an elite athlete. Now I’m chasing an entirely different dream: becoming a pop artist and building a career in music from the ground up. And honestly, I’ve learned that making music is a lot like gymnastics. The dream is exciting, but behind every performance is an incredible amount of work, time, and investment.
