Day 17 of unemployment for me. yet I put in a full day of work revising manuscripts??? Everyone in my life thinks I screwed up my life. I got no severance, or payment for my accrued vacation time. In a way, maybe I did. I spent so much time on work I forgot to find a husband to finically support me (sarcasm)! I am not alone. In my state the week I filed, there were almost 15,000 unemployment claims. If you major in #STEM do it because you get a thrill balancing and equation, calculating velocity, writing a paper. Because that’s the only reason I really persisted.
