It’s nice to be back to editing, organizing, and planning for such an exciting 24th year of life ahead. The summer felt both like a blip and longer than 3 months, and as I return to the plan of action post-Berlin trip, I am met with both gratitude and grief that has inspired newfound motivation for a person so formative for my love of images and also for the act of remembering and keeping legacies through portraiture alive.

My camera(s) feel less like a weight and more like an extension of the self again which was a goal of mine in this first year of graduate school. I missed photography and the way it makes me feel both liberated and allows me to observe, listen, and stay in a radical state of presentness.
