If a cozy fall day was a drink, it would be this brown butter & apple gin sour. 🧈🍎
Fat-Washed Gin:
1.Over medium-low heat, brown 3 tbs. of butter with 1/4 cup diced apples and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Careful not to burn your butter!
2.Once butter is browned, remove the apples, then pour melted butter into 1/2 cup of gin in a heat safe container.
3.Seal with a lid and shake every 15 minutes for one hour at room temperature. Then, place in the freezer for 4-5 hours, or overnight.
4.Once frozen, remove solidified fats and strain gin through a fine mesh strainer and coffee filter.
5.Once gin is clear and clean, you’re ready to add to your cocktail!
