#Repost richiewritz ... Nobody tells young women how easy it is to become the default person for EVERYTHING once you become a wife and mother. You’re keeping up with homework, appointments, meals, schedules, practices, the house, everybody’s emotions…and somehow you’re supposed to keep yourself together too. Looking at the Lindsay Clancy story made me think about a much bigger question: Who is taking care of the woman who is taking care of everybody else? Her story is an extreme and heartbreaking situation, but the conversation about women carrying an overwhelming mental load needs to happen.
