Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is suing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in an effort to extradite ICE agent Christian Castro to Minnesota. Castro faces four counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of falsely reporting a crime in connection with the Jan. 14 shooting of Julio Sosa-Celis in Minneapolis. Castro remains jailed in Texas, but Ellison says he could be released as early as Aug. 26 under a Texas time limit for holding fugitives awaiting extradition.
