π This is exactly why I don't rely on insurance reimbursements for my private orthopedic surgery practice. It's only a small portion of my overall revenue. I try to have multiple streams of revenue outside of professional fees from insurance companies, which range from surgery center facility fees to medical legal work (including workers compensation) to products sold in the office to consulting services to dispensing medications.
