TW: Domestic Violence, Assault Police arrested Below Deck Mediterranean star Nathan Gallagher for allegedly assaulting and choking a woman in Australia last year, Rolling Stone reported Wednesday. A New South Wales police memo says the alleged incident, which involved an unnamed 29-year-old woman, occurred at a Sydney-area apartment complex on December 26. Gallagher, a 27-year-old bosun from Ireland who’s starred on the show for three seasons, was arrested the following day and charged with “assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally [choking a] person without consent, and common assault.” While the police memo kept the alleged victim’s name confidential, Rolling Stone reviewed a corresponding court case in which an application for an apprehended violence order against Gallagher was filed on behalf of Gael Cameron, his on-and-off partner and #BelowDeck castmate with whom he shares a 1-year-old son.
