“We’re doing something in our high school lab that could potentially have a huge impact for, like, millions of people,” then-Lambert High School student Claire Lee said in 2025. "This thing could help save lives." Lee was part of a science team at Lambert High School in Suwanee, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, using CRISPR to detect and treat Lyme disease.
