ERICE, SICILY 🇮🇹- here’s everything you need to know about it Day 1 in Sicily started with this hilltop town that was so cute and we loved how relaxing it was #vspiceroute #sicily #erice #italyguide #sicily🇮🇹 Day 1 in Sicily, we drove west and stayed in the beautiful town of Marsala, best known for the fortified wine that originated here. 🍷 From Marsala, we headed to Erice, a charming medieval hilltop town. We took the cable car up from Trapani, and the views on the way were absolutely beautiful. 🚠 Erice is small and very walkable. We spent about 2-3 hours strolling through the cobblestone streets, exploring little corners, shops and viewpoints — which felt like the perfect amount of time. Of course, we had to try our first granita of the trip! 😋 Unfortunately, this one wasn’t our favorite… so stay tuned for my Sicily granita reviews.
