From an idol, to a mentor, to a teammate, to a competitor. You took the time to give me a hand when I needed it most, and that gave me the opportunity not only to win races, but to win a championship. I’ll never forget battling you on the last lap at Michigan to win my first race. Getting to race against someone I looked up to for so many years is something I’ll always be grateful for.
