Georgetown University School of Medicine welcomed the Class of 2030 during its annual White Coat Ceremony in historic Gaston Hall — marking the beginning of the students’ journeys as future physicians. More than 200 incoming medical students gathered on August 7, 2026, to receive their white coats and reflect on the values at the heart of a Georgetown medical education: cura personalis — care for the whole person — service to others, compassion and respect for human dignity.
