Namibia's biggest export buyer by value is not the one creating the most jobs. Europe takes about a fifth of what Namibia sells and carries roughly forty thousand jobs, close to half of every export job in the country. Mining is the opposite. Gold, uranium and diamonds top the export table, yet together they employ only around six thousand people. Real value, real tax, just not many hands.
