In one of the most unforgettable demonstrations of automotive engineering, Range Rover took its SUV to Tianmen Mountain in China and attempted an extraordinary climb on the mountain's famous 999-step staircase, leading toward the iconic Heaven's Gate.
This wasn't a normal road.
The staircase is incredibly steep, narrow, and made up of hundreds of stone steps climbing dramatically toward the natural rock arch.
And Range Rover decided to drive up it.
The demonstration was designed to showcase what the SUV could do when faced with an extreme combination of steep gradients, uneven surfaces, limited traction, and challenging terrain.
Every step created a new challenge.
