One of those hikes where you stop every few minutes because the view somehow keeps getting better. 🏔️🤍 Lac Blanc might just have one of the most beautiful views in Chamonix. Sitting high above the valley with the Mont Blanc massif stretched out in front of you, it’s one of those places that hardly feels real. You don’t have to do the long hike from the valley to experience it, but I was still sore for days afterwards. ☺️ SAVE this for your next trip to Chamonix 👇🏼 🥾 The easiest + shortest route to Lac Blanc: 🚡 Take the Flégère gondola from Les Praz 🚠 From Flégère, take the Index chairlift up to around 2,500m 🏔️ From the top of Index, follow the marked trail toward Refuge du Lac Blanc ⏱️ Plan roughly 1.5hrs to reach the lake.
