One thing I feel really good about as a parent is introducing my boys to women’s sports at such a young age. I think it’s so special that kids their age get to experience women’s sports in a way many of us never did. They get to grow up with it simply being normal, especially in Portland. And I love getting to experience it with them. My hope is that their generation will see women’s and men’s sports, simply just as sports. We’re making progress, but we have to keep doing the work.
