A company called Sekisui House builds homes in Japan. Now they are building homes in Las Vegas. They use a different way to build the frame of the house. It is a different process. It is a different standard, even if the house looks the same on the outside. For a long time, American builders tend to work fast. Build it fast, sell it, move to the next house. In Japan, builders had to think about earthquakes. With some American builders, they can build in as little time as 4 months, Japanese builders can take 6-8 months depending on the project. It can be arguable that they build homes that are stronger and last longer with better quality. Now both kinds of homes are being built on the same streets here in Las Vegas. Most buyers cannot tell which is which just by looking. This is why the builder matters just as much as the price when you are moving here from far away.
