⛵️ What does it take to sail a 149-year-old tall ship from Galveston to Boston and New York City?
The 1877 tall ship Elissa recently returned from its journey along the Gulf and East Coasts as part of Sail 250, a global gathering of tall ships and military vessels celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
We spoke with Ryan Bradfield, Port Captain and Galveston Historic Seaport Director, and Reesa Bradfield, a volunteer crew member aboard Elissa, about stories from the historic voyage.
Go over to our YouTube channel to learn more about their exodus. 🙌
