Molly McNearney wouldn't mind if husband Jimmy Kimmel retired from late night soon. The co-head writer and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!—who shares kids Jane, 12, and Billy, 9, with her husband of 13 years—weighed in on the possibility of him ending the show in the near future. As McNearney said on the Aug. 24 episode of Armchair Expert, "It definitely appeals to me for the nervous system of the household… I feel like Jimmy has a fly rod in one hand and a torch in the other right now." She continued, "It’s like he deserves to go out there and just be on the river and relax, but I also want him to keep fighting. And I feel this sense of desire to not quit because I think what he’s doing is incredibly important right now." The former Oscars host also let fans know that even if he left his talk show, he would still work in show business while poking fun at other retired comedians who have been quick to make their comebacks.
