Torrential rain from Typhoon Narra swamped large parts of China's southwestern Guangxi region, triggering evacuations and submerging roads, buildings and vegetation. At least 54,000 people have been relocated because of the flooding, including 8,087 moved to emergency shelters, state broadcaster CCTV said.
