The child star of the ‘Baby Shark Dance’ video, the most-watched video in YouTube history, is returning to the stage as a K-pop singer a decade on by releasing his first digital single on August 20. Park Geonroung, who starred in the video when he was seven-years-old and is now 17, will make his solo K-pop debut under the name ‘Baby Shark Boy’ and backed by Pinkfong Company which owns the Baby Shark intellectual property. The song was released in 2016 and has since chalked up 17.2 billion views.
