The new Wildwood trailer by laikastudios featured even more stop-motion animated Portland spots. The St Johns Bridge, the White Stag, Forest Park, and the Pittock Mansion all made appearances. The film, based on the novel of the same name by Carson Ellis and Colin Meloy, will release in theaters this October. There’s currently a free public art trail inspired by the book and film, wildwoodfollowthecrowspdx, and you can experience it now across Portland. There’s also a pink frosted stop-motion animated donut and we’re trying to figure out which local hub it came from.
