Tuesday’s game between France and Sweden was another played in what felt like an outdoor sauna, with harsh light to add to the ambiance. Kylian Mbappé scored twice and Bradley Barcola added a third goal for France’s 3-0 win to advance to the Round of 16. For me, sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t. Players celebrate where and how they want, and this was one of those matches where I wasn’t as lucky.
