The Houston Cougars dropped from No. 4 to No. 5 after a tough road loss to Kansas on Saturday. Returning home to the Fertitta Center, the players and head coach Kelvin Sampson were fired up and took a 30-point lead over visiting Oklahoma State at one point and beat the Cowboys by a final score of 79-63. Cougars head coach Kelvin Sampson took issue with some of the officiating calls and early in the second half, rushed the court to argue with the officiating crew.
