Texas A&M was going to face a bit of an uphill battle against No. 22 Oklahoma State in the TaxAct Texas Bowl, but the Aggies suffered a further setback when quarterback Jaylen Henderson was injured on the first play of the game an left with his throwing arm immobilized. Henderson was started the season as the team’s third stringer, earning the starting spot after the first two were lost to injury. Last night, Henderson was replaced by freshman Marcel Reed, who had attempted just three passes all season coming into the game. However, Reed ended up going 20-for-33 for 361 yards an an interception and scored on a 20-yard scramble into the end zone (the first photo in the set). All things considered, it was a more exciting game than it could have been, and the Aggies still had a chance in the final seconds with Reed attempting a Hail Mary pass that could have set up a potential tying 2-point conversion attempt.
