A mostly boring game on Saturday didn’t get interesting until around midway through the 4th quarter, when Houston’s offense finally got in gear and the Cougars scored a touchdown to pull ahead of Baylor. The Cougars then intercepted Baylor quarterback Blake Shapen and had a chance to put the game away, but missed a field goal that allowed Baylor to march down the field and tie the game at 17-17.
