Recently relocated from Austin, the Texas Pumpkin Fest is expected to draw more than 75,000 visitors to its new location in Leander this October. The event features an extensive pumpkin patch, amusement rides, food trucks and several other new attractions spread across a five acre site. Organizers say they expect to sell a whopping 750,000 pounds of pumpkins and gourds this year, although only about 250,000 pounds of them will be on the ground at one time.
