There weren’t as many obvious picks this year, so potential was more of a factor than past seasons when assembling our Super 11 selections. For nearly three decades, the unveiling of the lohud Super 11 teams have signaled the start of a new high school football season. Those who make the final cut are proven game-changers from schools in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam. A majority of these headliners come from winning programs and play a sport in college. Two years ago, we expanded, creating unique Super 11 teams for public and private schools.
