The head of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces has announced the group's dissolution. It's part of a deal struck with the government. Mazloum Abdi said the SDF would cease to operate as an independent force. The group lost most of its territory in north-eastern Syria during a government offensive in January.
