Several countries are taking tougher action over Israeli settlement activity and settler violence in the occupied West Bank.
Belgium has tightened restrictions on imports from illegal Israeli settlements, while the Netherlands is preparing to ban the import, purchase and sale of settlement goods.
But despite these efforts, settlement products continue to reach European markets. And with some entering through illegal or difficult-to-trace channels, enforcing the restrictions is proving increasingly challenging.
