In 2023, I almost walked away from the game entirely due to an ACL tear... Kinda. Because what I hadn’t realized was that a lot of the things that I was doing at the time were coming out of my own will. Not His. I was leaning on my own understanding. And as a result, I was forcing everything and not trusting His plan. The ACL tear wasn’t what almost ended my career🙅‍♀️ It was the lack of understanding what my true identity and purpose was in this game. And I wasn’t able to realize that until I was forced to stop. But I’m only able to realize that now by being able to look back on all of that and what truly took place and the purpose that injury served me. And I can truly say that I wouldn’t be who I am today if it weren’t for that injury.
