Día de los Muertos in Fort Stockton 🕯️🏵️ This weekend, the Fort Stockton community came together in a beautiful display of remembrance and tradition. At St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, families spent the day visiting their loved ones — decorating headstones with vibrant marigolds, candles, and photographs. The cemetery was filled with color, faith, and heartfelt stories of those we continue to honor. Later, on Nelson Street, the community ofrenda stood glowing at sunset — a centerpiece of love surrounded by candles and framed photos of Fort Stockton’s departed. Melissa Gutierrez, dressed in her stunning Catrina attire, brought the artistry and spirit of the celebration to life this year. The evening concluded with prayer and reflection during the rosary led by Deacon Danny, bringing peace to a weekend of remembrance.
