Our NYC Pre-Professional Contemporary Summer Intensive dancers are learning from artists actively shaping the contemporary dance world, including GALLIM gallimdanceco artist India Hobbs _innkid.⁠ ⁠ A New York City-based professional dancer, creative, and movement instructor, India has performed with GALLIM under the direction of founder and choreographer Andrea Miller, as well as KnoName Artist, led by Roderick George. Her performance career has taken her to stages including The Joyce Theater, New York City Center, Jacob’s Pillow, Kaatsbaan Cultural Park, Harris Theater, and internationally in Poland. ⁠ ⁠ Most recently, India was named a 2026 Princess Grace Award winner for Dance Performance, recognizing her artistry and continued growth as an emerging artist.⁠ ⁠ As a faculty member for this summer’s intensive, India brings her professional experience and individual perspective into the studio, challenging dancers to explore movement with curiosity, intention, and confidence while expa...
