Homemade Bone Broth Recipe
Bone broth is often linked to:
• Joint and connective tissue support
• Gut-friendly nutrients (gelatin, collagen, amino acids)
Just bones, vegetables, and water; no mystery ingredients, no additives.
Ingredients
• Bones (beef, chicken, or a combination)
• 2-3 carrots, roughly chopped
• 2-3 celery stalks, roughly chopped
• 1 onion, quartered
• 4-6 garlic cloves
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 tbsp whole black peppercorns
• 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• Water, enough to cover the ingredients
Instructions
1. Roast the bones and vegetables: Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange the bones, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic on a baking sheet. Roast for 40 minutes, until the bones and vegetables are nicely browned.
2. Transfer to the slow cooker: Place the roasted bones and vegetables in a slow cooker. Add the bay leaves, black peppercorns, and apple cider vinegar.
