Baltimore took down the MLB-leading Tampa Bay Rays again, grinding out a chaotic 4-3, extra-innings Saturday-night win for its second straight one-run road victory. Tyler O’Neill came through with the go-ahead RBI single off former Orioles teammate—and Rays closer—Bryan Baker in the 10th, putting the O’s ahead for good in a game that had every ounce of late-inning drama Birdland could handle. Pete Alonso and Christian Encarnacion-Strand launched solo home runs on offspeed pitches, while Gunnar Henderson and Christian Franklin helped manufacture an early run. Franklin’s clutch two-out walk put Henderson in scoring position before Leody Taveras drove him home with an RBI single. Kyle Bradish battled through six innings without his best command, walking three and generating only four swings-and-misses on 35 strikes.
