FerraxisWorks.com 315 pounds is starting to mean something different in my squat training. Today I worked up to a 315-pound high-bar back squat for three reps at RPE 6.5. Not a max. Not a grinder. Three controlled reps before moving into farmer’s carries. The first carry was 120-pound handles for 60 feet in 9.08 seconds. Then I moved to 125s for 60 feet and pushed the pace harder, finishing somewhere between 8.00 and 8.30 seconds based on the stopwatch and video. Both runs included a 30-foot run, turnaround, and 30 feet back. That combination is what I am interested in right now: developing strength under the bar and then learning how to turn that strength into speed when the implements start moving. FERRAXIS WORKS documents the progression from Novice toward Open strongman. Discipline. Power.
