THE MOMENT 💥 THE SHOT 📸 Been trying to get this shot of jake_doran for a long time after noticing his pre race routine a while back. It’s always been wrong place wrong time, no photobrief flexibility, or havent been far enough away to not disrupt the pre race routine. Getting an image is not more important than disrupting an athletes space, and routine. Anyways. Semifinals at nationals. (Nationals is fab cause you get multiple chances to capture the athletes). Waited patiently on the side of the track, and when run throughs started I was at about 60m away. The boys were stopped at about 30-40ish by an official. WE FINALLY GOT THE PHOTO 🤝 p.s checked with the officials and they were cool with my plans.
