Open finance in the United Arab Emirates has officially shifted from pilot testing into full production. Dubai-based infrastructure provider Fintech Galaxy has secured regulatory approval from the Central Bank of the UAE to operate as a licensed Open Finance provider. The regulatory approval allows Fintech Galaxy to connect banks, fintechs, and financial institutions under a single, central bank-sanctioned data-sharing framework. Founded by former Mastercard executive Mirna Sleiman, the platform's API network enables consumers and businesses to securely grant third-party applications access to their financial data. This unlocks real-time account aggregation, instant credit scoring, variable recurring payments, and automated personal finance tools without relying on temporary bilateral agreements.
