Today, kids in
#Etobicoke North gave me their own list of demands:
“Nathen, build us pools in the parks!”
Okay kids… I can get a lot done—but I'm not putting a swimming pool in every park. 😂
But listen to what they're really telling us: they want more places to play, move, swim, meet friends and actually enjoy their neighbourhood.
That's a local issue. And it's sad how little attention ideas like this seem to get after years of the same old politics.
It fits directly into my Bio Harmony Toronto™ vision: better parks, splash and water features where feasible, recreation, sports, beautiful landscaping, cafés, promenades and public spaces that make families actually want to spend their day outside.
Dubai ambition. Copenhagen functionality. Singapore-level thinking. Toronto nature.
