Instead of birthday gifts - we gave our sons a birthday trip to their FAVORITE place to legolandcalifornia 🎁 Plus, our sons LOVE rewatching all of our family trip videos 😭 just bc they can’t voice it doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy it! Look at my boys happy smiles & stims! 🧩♾️ Did we need to take LOTS of breaks in the day? Yes! Was there ever a “perfect stress free day” ? nope! But we work hard to support our sons & teach them to work through many situations patiently with grace & full of love 💗 Once they regulate they are READY to have fun again & again!! 🤪 They are NOT “bad kids misbehaving “ they are doing their best to communicate & express themselves without letting frustration get in the way of their emotions.. Our kids deserve to take up space. We might need 30minutes or even 1 hr to have a break & that’s OKAY! Regardless we’re going to TAKE THAT TRIP WITH OUR KIDS!!
