🎓 👏 Please send Sradha your best wishes! She recently graduated from college and is doing great after multiple surgeries to correct orthopedic and heart conditions. Sradha was born with several complex health problems, including #scoliosis, hip #dysplasia (where the hip joint doesn’t fit properly), a dilated aorta (enlargement of the main artery carrying blood from the heart), and #PectusExcavatum (a condition in which the chest bone grows inward). Growing up, Sradha had several surgeries at our hospital with #orthopedic surgeon Dr. Mohammad Diab, including two for her hip dysplasia, three knee surgeries and scoliosis surgery. As Sradha’s chest condition progressed, her breastbone began pressing against her heart and affecting her breathing. In 2018, Dr. Sunghoon Kim performed surgery to correct the problem, with a final surgery this past July to remove the remaining screws and metal plates in her chest. Today, Sradha is doing great!
