Beach days are different than pool days. ☀️⛱️ Even if the beach is busy and there are other families nearby, your child still needs a designated adult watching them. Other beachgoers do not count as supervision. Floaties, puddle jumpers, and pool toys are not lifesaving devices. In open water, an approved life jacket or PFD is the safest choice. And even if your child is a strong swimmer, we always recommend that mom, dad, or another trusted adult is physically in the water nearby. Waves, drop-offs, currents, and fatigue can change things quickly.
