It is Come and Take It Celebration Day 3! This morning there was registration and set up for various cook-offs and the car show. Ticket booth should be open now (closes at 5 p.m.) Biergarten & Food Booths also open until 5 p.m. At 12:30 p.m., the DRT Memorial Service at the Museum (414 Smith Street). Lions Club Bingo from 1-5 p.m. Then we have the car show awards at 3 p.m. and the t-bone, chili, bean cook-off awards at 4 p.m. And of course, the Shiner Hobo Band plays from 1-5 p.m. today.
