1. Go to the grocery store once a week and limit packaged foods. Having a food game-plan for the week and only going to the store once can save so much money! Those extra trips to the store really add up and if I try I can usually stretch what I already have. When you’re following a gluten-free diet it can also be tempting to buy all the packaged gluten-free crackers, cookies and snacks - but these foods are often double the price of their “regular” counterparts. The great news is MOST whole foods are naturally gluten-free and less expensive! Snacking on an apple instead of gluten-free pretzels is healthier and cheaper.
