Meet adoptable Callie, a 1 year old, 23 lb Terrier mix and true boroughbred who hails from our friends at nycacc! Callie was rescued as a stray and can be a little shy at first, but this sweet girl is already showing us what happens when she gets a little time, patience, and a safe place to land. After just a few days in foster care, her personality started coming out in the cutest ways: rolling onto her back for belly rubs, gently hopping up for ear scratches, and sneaking in sweet little kisses. She is good with other dogs and quickly learning all about home life. Walks, playtime, mealtime, and cozy routines are all starting to make sense, and food is definitely one of her favorite things. Callie is also working on her house-training, crate-training, and leash skills like the smart little gal she is.
