So… imagine getting fired from your job because you were too friendly. That is basically adoptable Palomo’s origin story. Palomo is an 8 month old, 67 lb Great Pyrenees mix who was originally “hired” to be a livestock guardian dog by his former owners. The problem? Palomo did not really want to guard anyone. He wanted to be friends with everyone, play chase, and lay out getting a tan. Sometimes, the job description just is not the right fit. And while Palomo may not have been cut out for the livestock guardian life, he is absolutely cut out for the family dog life. This big boy deserves a couch and forever family of his own! Palomo is SO good with other dogs and wants to be friends with everyone, two- and four-legged. He is goofy, all legs, and is happy to lean his whole body on his newest friend.
