Replacing the perimeter shooting from last season's Sweet 16 team was one of Nebraska's top priorities this offseason. The Huskers believe they found that answer in Belmont transfer Sam Orme. Orme arrives in Lincoln after averaging 12.7 points per game while shooting 40% from 3-point range last season. The transfer said Nebraska's offensive system under head coach Fred Hoiberg made the decision an easy one. "Definitely just the openness of the offense," Orme said. "The spacing of it, ball movement, player movement, coming off screens... all of that kind of appeals to the three-point shot." Hoiberg said Orme has already shown why he was one of the Missouri Valley Conference's top shooters. "He shot the heck out of it last week," Hoiberg said. "I think he's a little sneaky with his pop and athleticism. He's a guy that moves his feet and I think is a versatile defender."
