Every year when we get close to this date, I find myself going back…🥹 Back to a tiny baby boy in the NICU. Back to the phone call. Back to walking into a hospital not knowing that our lives were about to change forever. We didn’t know what the future would look like. We didn’t know how long he would be ours to love. We didn’t know that this little baby, with a story already bigger than him, would one day become our Boosie Lou Who!❤️ I look at him now and sometimes it’s hard to believe he was ever that little. The boy who keeps us laughing, keeps us on our toes, keeps us tired 😂 and has brought so much joy into this family. Foster care was part of his beginning, but it was never the whole story.
